♦Description
Plum elastic coupling has the qualities of vibration reduction, buffering, little radial dimensions, no lubrication and simple routine maintenance. Suited for starting up frequency, positive and unfavorable rotation, medium and lower speed, medium and little electrical power transmission.Not suitable for heavy masses and recurrent substitute of elastic components.
The structure of plum elastic coupling is basic.But when the elastic element is changed, the 50 % coupling shall be moved axially.LMS variety is simple to substitute the elastic factor without getting to go the half coupling.

Types of Couplings

Some couplings can also be used in a single or multiple-shaft application.
The first type of shaft coupling is a rigid coupling, which consists of two parts that fit together tightly around the shafts. These couplings are designed to have more flexibility than sleeved models, and they can be used on fixed shafts as well. The flanged coupling, on the other hand, is designed for heavy loads and is made of two perpendicular flanges.
